Homeopathy - the gentle medicine

Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843)
Samuel Hahnemann
Founder of Homeopathy

The term homeopathy comes from the Greek words “homeo”, meaning similar and “pathos” meaning suffering or disease.

Homeopathy, also known as homeopathic medicine, is a whole medical system developed by the German physician Samuel Christian Hahnemann, more than 250 years ago. It is practiced worldwide.

Chronic diseases link us to the suffering of our parents, grandparents etc.

A robust health can only be obtained through change of our genetic burden.

What is the homeopathic approach?

Homeopathy seeks to stimulate the body's ability to heal itself and is used to treat many diseases as well as for prevention.

The treatment of chronic and acute diseases requires an in-depth knowledge of the overall condition of the patient. Homeopaths treat people based on genetic and personal health history, body type and current physical, emotional, and mental symptoms.

A in-depth discussion with the patient builds the foundation of the healing process.

The challenging task of a homeopath is to discover the essential characteristics of each individual. The holistic approach of homeopathy aims to stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself in order to ensure sustainable health.

Treatments are tailored to each individual. It is not uncommon for different people with the same condition to receive different treatments.

The elimination of symptoms only does not stop the progress of disease and the imbalance within the body-system will continue and create other symptoms. E.g. hay fever or allergic rhinitis are often seen to appear following the suppression of a skin rash with cortisone. The suppression of hay fever has asthma as a consequence, a dangerous shifting of a harmless structure (skin) towards vital organs. Homeopathic treatment aims at stopping the disease from its dangerous journey and development.

Although homeopathy is effective in treating various disorders and ailments as well as functional troubles, irreversible or degenerative conditions cannot be cured by homeopathy. Homeopathy can however play an important role in such cases by providing physical as well as psychological support which aids the body in defending itself against the disease.

Minerals and heavy metal analysis

Vitamins and minerals are indispensable for our metabolism. Since the body can not produce the minerals themselves, they must be absorbed daily in sufficient quantities through the food.
